George’s Recovery Story

My name is George and I spent most of my life as a drug addict with undiagnosed mental illness. Light years ago, I received treatment for Bi-polar disorder and PTSD. My life changed. I changed. Today I live filled with hope. Today I see the world full of promise.

"Today I see the world full of promise."

Today I have 7 years, 10 months of recovery from drugs and alcohol; as well as from mental illness. I have a job, I pay taxes, and live independently as an active member in my community.
