I believe in Recovery! I work with women everyday at a Community Based Correctional Facility.
It has opened my mind that anything is possible! The women I work with have experienced pain, suffering, sadness, and trauma. But everyday I see them fighting and working through all of those experiences to find happiness within themselves again, and its amazing! So much strength and beauty! My husband has lost both his parents to drugs. His father murdered, and his mother lost to an overdose. So, on those harder days I tell myself if I can touch one mother or help her discover a new life, that it will be one more child to not become motherless. I will continue to give my whole heart into my job to help those who feel like all hope is lost. Recovery is beautiful!
