Recovery Truly is a Beautiful Thing

Recovery can be a hard concept for some people to understand or to accept. When people around us think of recovery in a negative light, instead of opening up and working to show that recovery in and of itself is a good thing, sometimes we close down, live within ourselves and decide to present ourselves to others with a false front.

We all must work to fight the stigma of mental illness and addiction and show both individuals in recovery and those around us that Recovery truly is a beautiful thing.
