Recovery Is Beautiful

Recovery Resources

Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care:

We are excited to announce a new five-year plan, Recovery is Beautiful™: A BluePrint for Ohio’s Community Mental Health and Addiction System. This five-year plan with overarching goals and action steps is designed to provide a framework for moving Ohio’s mental health and addiction system toward a Recovery-Oriented System of Care. This Recovery-Oriented System of Care will promote good health through prevention and wellness programs, as well as provide crisis intervention, treatment, and recovery supports when individuals experience a mental health or substance abuse problem.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline:

988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), and is now active across the United States. When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.

Crisis Text Line

Crisis Text Line provides free support at your fingertips, 24/7. It is a free, confidential service available via text on mobile devices. It is intended to broaden the options available through current community crisis hotlines. Crisis Text Line‘s goal is to move people from a hot moment to a cool calm.
